In 2020, we noticed students struggling to keep up with their grades. As a response, we started a pilot
program of 15 children to see if we can help them. Since then, the movement has grown exponentially,
with
more and more kids reaching out for our help every day.
Why us?
Learn With Peers is convenient for all individuals as it takes place online. Tutees
will be in a comfortable environment because they will be able to build a connection with the tutor(s)
they work with. Additionally, tutees will also have the opportunity to work with experienced students in
high school to develop their interests and passions.
How much do you have to pay?
There is nothing that you have to pay for in this program. All the tutors who teach
are volunteering for the better of the community! All you need is a stable internet connection and a
device, preferably a laptop or computer, to video-chat.
How does peer tutoring help?
Many students will benefit from peer-to-peer tutoring, as it has proven to be much
more effective. Research has shown that peer tutoring can improve academic performance in a variety of
subjects because of the connection that is formed between tutor and tutee.
